In John 9 Jesus gave a man born blind his sight, yet there was no celebration following this miracle. Why? Because the claims of Jesus as the Messiah and the way He healed the man offended the religious Pharisees. In an attempt to open their eyes Jesus describes Himself as the Door of the Sheep and the Good Shepard. We all need our eyes opened to who Jesus really is. He is our door to salvation and access to God, He is our Good Shepard who came to give us life in its fullness.
